Download for insanely massive detailed image.

So... this is how I plan on spending the next... 3-4 years of my life lol.

The design is based loosely on descriptions of clothing from the Earth's Children series of books by Jean M. Auel, the burial at Sungir ( [link] ), and the study of Paleolithic decorated clothing at La Madeleine ( [link] ).

The tunic is worn loosely, with 3/4-length sleeves held together by beaded ties, and belted low across the hips. It comes to a fringed point in the front and the back; the back is slightly longer than the front, and is undecorated.

The leggings consist of 3 pieces sewn together, with the back half having a large flap that is drawn up between the legs and tied in place, like a loincloth. The leggings can be worn tucked into the boots, or left out. They are tucked in in this image, so the boots can be clearly seen.

The boots come to mid-calf, but can be folded down and tied in place on hot days. Each boot is tipped with 5 freshwater mollusk shells, filed down to the shape of leaves, and are meant to represent bear claws. They rattle against each other when walking. :)

The beads on the outfit will all be hand-made from polymer clay. I need to lose like 50 pounds so I can keep the total number of beads under 5,000. >.>;;
